PolyCello is pleased to announce some recent changes to its pet food packaging services and production capacities.
Steve Ablett has been promoted to Director – Pet Food. “Steve has been a valuable member of our team for years,” said Emmerson. “I am excited to have him share his industry knowledge and commitment to customer care in this leadership position.”
Capital investments continue to be made to support the pet food industry. In 2012, PolyCello purchased a 10-colour W&H Vistaflex press, and two W&H extrusion lines have also been installed in the last eight months.
In-house converting has been a part of capital investments in PolyCello’s Belleville facility with the addition of a Totani CT-60 and SG6 in 2011. This fall, PolyCello will install the latest in B&B converting machine technology. The B&B converting equipment will enable PolyCello to provide more bag style options and features for pet food manufacturers.
“PolyCello has long invested in helping its clients succeed, and the many millions spent over the last four years is proof positive we are here to service the pet food market for the long term,” said Ablett.
