PolyCello has been awarded three awards, this time for print quality. The Flexographic Technical Association has awarded PolyCello a silver, bronze and special recognition in the wide-web categories of an international competition. Hundreds of entries were submitted for judging based upon print quality, consistency and degree of difficulty.
“We are honoured to be recognized with these three awards,” said Stephen Emmerson, President and CEO of PolyCello. “These awards show the high caliber of our product due to the expertise of our employees and our equipment.”
The silver award was for a product that was once a rotogravure product but that PolyCello produced with greater detail using the flexographic process. The bronze award was for a product that was printed using an environmentally conscious process, SmartPack™. Special recognition was awarded to a promotional product developed by PolyCello, which includes high levels of detail.
“Flexographic printing is a very difficult process due to the substrates used. Three awards in a field where hundreds applied is a significant form of recognition,” said Dwayne Cormier, Printing Manager at PolyCello.
The award ceremony was held March 18th in San Antonio, Texas. This is the fifth year in a row that PolyCello has placed in the competition.
